SPECIAL: Furoshiki - the art of gift wrapping - 13th of December 2026

Join us for a cosy, creative workshop exploring the beautiful Japanese art of furoshiki — wrapping gifts in fabric instead of paper.

Together, we’ll discover the magic of natural dyes and transform silk squares into unique, reusable Christmas wrapping cloths. Using colours from plants and kitchen scraps, you’ll experiment with different natural dye baths and watch the silks take on beautiful, earthy shades.

Our natural colour palette:

• Soft pink from avocado
• Blue and purple tones from red cabbage
• Warm browns from eucalyptus
• Sunny yellows from pomegranate skins

You can decide on the day how many silks you’d like to dye and take home, depending on what inspires you.

After the creative part, we’ll enjoy a cup of tea and some Christmas cookies — a little moment to slow down, connect, and ease into the festive season.

A thoughtful way to prepare for Christmas, create something by hand, and give your gifts an extra layer of care. Your silk wraps can be reused year after year, making gift-giving a little more beautiful and sustainable.

Workshop details

• Small silk (50 × 50 cm): €20
• Large silk (90 × 90 cm): €30
• Choose and pay for as many silks as you like on the day.
• All natural dye baths, tea and Christmas cookies are included.
